Burt County has been included in the list of counties subject to the Directed Health Measure proclaimed by Governor Ricketts on March 29 until May 6, 2020, unless renewed, extended, or terminated. 

Gatherings of over 10 people are prohibited, including day care facilities, salons, fitness centers, weddings, funerals, parades, fairs and concerts, among others.  This list does NOT include health care facilities, retail or grocery stores, courts, election offices or polling places, distribution centers, and family residences housing 10 or more people.   Elective surgeries are prohibited. 

Individuals or businesses violating this order are subject to fines. 

Individuals who test positive for Covid-19 or have any of these symptoms: Fever of 100.4 F. degrees or above, Cough or Shortness of breath shall home quarantine for a period of no less than 14 days.

To help prevent the spread of Covid-19  (Coronavirus)  you should: 
Stay home except to get medical care 
Wear a face mask if you are sick 
Cover your coughs and sneezes 
Clean your hands often 
Avoid sharing personal household items 
Clean all “high-touch” surfaces every day
